4th of July Fun!

Unfortunately Ben wasn't feeling well on the 4th of July so we had a relatively quiet day at home with just a few family and friends. Daddy went and bought Ben a few little fireworks (very few because we are total scrooges about fireworks). He bought a few boxes of those little things that snap when you throw them on the concrete and some smoke bombs. He had a lot of fun with the little snappy-things, mostly stomping on them because he couldn't ever seem to throw them down hard enough to make noise. He liked looking at the smoke coming out of the smoke bombs, but mostly he just liked playing outside with his Daddy and uncles.
When it got dark we went out onto our deck to watch our neighbors' fireworks and Ben wasn't really fond of the whole scenario. He liked seeing the displays but was not at all happy with the noise. His Uncle Clint finally took him in the house and let him look at the fireworks from a window.
